YKAAは様々な環境での経験を活かしながら、プロジェクト毎に0から思考します。また地元の職人技を大事にしながら、人間の本質的なふるまいに着目することで、既存のアイデアや慣習を超えた建築独自の価値を創造します。生み出された豊かな場が、人間や環境にとって良い影響を与え続けることが何より重要だと考えます。 YKAA, founded by Atsuki Yamazaki and Maryana Kovalchuk in 2022, is an art and architectural atelier based in Sapporo, Japan, and available worldwide. With experience in both Japanese and international environments, we strive to create a unique architectural value beyond existing ideas and conventions. We strive to bring a humanistic approach to our practice with a deep understanding of people’s needs and an appreciation for local craftsmanship.
